That was awesome! you made a really cute game.
I was confused about the key looking like the hammer, especially because clicking the closet after you picked up the hammer it tells you that it's locked again.
But other than that small part it was a very smooth experience. Very well done, guys! can't wait to see what else you create.

I would maybe add a few more respawn point before the boss.
Space + k is an interesting choice for controls, but it works so I can't complain.
The power ups are very rewarding to get.
